Il benessere entra nei musei italiani grazie all’ASBA Project (Anxiety, Stress, Brain-friendly museum, Approach), un innovativo programma interdisciplinare che mira a trasformare le istituzioni museali in spazi chiave per promuovere il benessere della comunità. Attraverso pratiche come la Mindfulness, l’Arteterapia, le Visual Thinking Strategies, il metodo Art Up, il metodo Nature+Art e il Chair Yoga, il progetto offre un nuovo approccio per migliorare la qualità della vita dei visitatori.

Oggi i musei sono chiamati a sperimentare modalità innovative di coinvolgimento del pubblico, integrando arte e scienza per rispondere ai bisogni individuali e creare spazi sociali ed emozionali. L’ASBA Project rappresenta un’opportunità unica per riflettere su come le istituzioni culturali possano contribuire a una strategia globale orientata alla salute e al benessere.
L’evento clou si terrà il 18 febbraio 2025, dalle 9:30 alle 17:30, presso il Palazzo Reale di Milano. Una giornata di interventi che illustreranno i risultati di tre anni di ricerca condotta da esperti del progetto ASBA, del CESPEB, dell’Università di Milano-Bicocca e dell’Università degli Studi di Milano. Il dibattito sarà arricchito dalla partecipazione di esperti internazionali provenienti da Stati Uniti, Francia, Portogallo, Grecia e Regno Unito, che condivideranno le loro esperienze nel settore museale. Le presentazioni saranno in lingua inglese.
Le metodologie adottate dall’ASBA Project, come l’Arteterapia e la Mindfulness, hanno già dimostrato la loro efficacia in diversi contesti museali, contribuendo a creare ambienti inclusivi e stimolanti. Il protocollo di ricerca, approvato dal Comitato Etico dell’Università di Milano-Bicocca, garantisce l’affidabilità scientifica delle pratiche adottate.
Partecipare a questo evento rappresenta un’importante opportunità per operatori museali, ricercatori, e appassionati di arte e benessere, offrendo spunti preziosi per implementare progetti simili e promuovere il ruolo sociale dei musei.
